Fuko Ueda (who I have mentioned before), was having an exhibit in Shibuya this past week and I took the family out to see it. It was my first time seeing her work in person, but I was utterly blown away. Honestly, snapshots on the Internet just don’t do it the justice it deserves.
I was a bit concerned whether or not the kids were going to be able to handle the gallery or not, but Ren fell asleep before we went in and the princess was rather good — she just asked like a million questions a picture which was really funny to me.
“Dad, why is she laying down?”
“I don’t know, maybe she is tired.”
“Dad, why is she cutting her hair?”
“Maybe she wants a haircut?”
“Dad, why does she have a bag of fish on her head?”
